Alternatives To Flowers

Nothing says you have to carry a bouquet of flowers down the aisle. A stunning coloured feather sets off the Maria’s red gown perfectly in this pre wedding shot.

Remember the gorgeous polka dot bride I posted a little while ago? She carried a bouquet of buttons!
Megan goes by the nickname of Princess Lasertron and actually makes button bouquets! Check out more of her work on her blog or her etsy store

This bouquet from Martha Stewart is made entirely from paper. Check out the tutorial
Apart from the obvious silk choice there are many different things you can include in your bouquet- with or without real flowers!
- Beads
- Shells
- Fabric
- Fruit
- Seeds
- Clay flowers

This is such a great alternative for brides on a budget. Flowers can cause a modest wedding budget to sky rocket! I love how easy it is to support peoples handmade crafts with etsy as well. You can really find some gems on that site! Beautiful! Thanks!

There are definitely many alternatives to having a bouquet consist of flowers. I saw an example from the Wedding Bistro featuring a bride carrying a rosary. To see the example, you can see the page here.
All the best,
