Sock It To Me
In doubt about what colour socks to wear? A good guide is suit colour equals sock colour (not shoe colour!). Wear black socks (not white, unless you’re going for an ultra stylish look like East Side Bride describes) if you’re wearing a tux or black suit, brown if you’re wearing a brown suit and taupe for a taupe suit and go sockless if you’re wearing thongs (flip flops). Make sure your socks are long enough so you don’t show any leg while sitting.
However as with everything, don’t be limited to tradition. Choosing to wear coloured socks is a great way to show some personality without compromising on style.

i love the whimsical socks on men. the added detail makes their outfit just a little more thought out and put together. but what about for tennis shoes? my fiancee and team are planning on wearing nike SBs.

i looooooooooove seeing funky socks on the groom and his groomsmen! I’m hoping to find some yellow or turquoise socks for my fiancé and his boys to wear! so fun! It’s such a neat little surprise and makes for cute photos!
