Alexis and Dave

Earlier today I shared with you the sweet story of how today’s couple Alexis and Dave met. Well the story continued to their gorgeous wedding which I am thrilled to be able to share on the blog today!

All of today’s photos are by Mary Claire Crow who Alexis booked after falling in love with a photo on theknot.com. She dug a little deeper and found out the photo was taken of a bride at Alexis’ childhood church and then realised the bride was a long lost childhood friend!

Alexis and Dave were married in East Nashville, Tennessee, USA in the backyard of Rumours restaurant and winebar.

Mum’s first look at the bride!

After arriving at Rumours, Alexis and her girls had photos taken on the lawn.

Alexis and Dave chose Rumours for its relaxed atmosphere. With a herb garden, pergola and hanging swings they knew it was the perfect place to celebrate their wedding.

Alexis and Dave were married by Alexa’s childhood minister.

Each guest received a program handmade by Alexis which contained a commitment prayer that the guests read to the couple during the ceremony.

Alexis and her bridesmaids waited in Rumours while the guests assembled.

The ceremony took place at sunset with the garden lit by fairy lights.

One last hug with her father before the walk down the aisle.

Here they go!

Check back soon for the ceremony and celebration photos! I can’t wait to share how Alexis and Dave spent their first meal together!
