Jen & Chad

It’s time for Wedding Wednesday! Today’s couple Jen & Chad had such a vividly coloured wedding, it’s such a treat for the eyes! Peacock inspired, the wedding is full of dancing and cupcakes. Just perfect for a gloomy winter Wednesday down under!

Today’s photos are by Lara Adkins Hanlon of Lara Hanlon Photography

Jen’s button bouquet was made in shades of violet, blue, green and pink by Megan of Princess Lasertron. Her maid of honour wove her grandmother’s lace into the bottom of the button stems. To compliment the bouquet, Megan made a boutonniere for Chad, wrist corsages for the bridal party, pins for the extended family and barettes for the flower girls. Jen’s hair flower was from Butterfly Enchantress on Etsy.

In a story that captured the hearts of those around them, Jen had painful surgery for scoliosis. Staying by her side, Chad proposed three months later.

Jen and Chad had scouted out fantastic locations for their “first look” including the back of their venue Legacy Hall which doubled as a storage yard for old trolleys.

Chad waited to see Jen in front of an old trolley.

After their “first look” the couple were joined by their bridal party for pre ceremony shots at an abandoned farmstead next door to Legacy Hall . Jen’s bridesmaids wore frocks from Banana Republic

Check back later today for Jen & Chad’s ceremony and fun reception!
