Christie and Greg

Today’s newlyweds Christie and Greg had a gorgeous traditional spring country wedding.

Both actors (Christie is currently playing Kirsty in Australian show Home & Away), the couple met onstage and started dating two weeks later. Greg knew Christie was the one straight away and proposed six weeks later with a ring, featuring an heirloom diamond belonging to his grandmother.

The couple held their wedding in the NSW Southern Highlands at the Sylvan Country House and Golf Course in Penrose.

Christie wore a wedding gown by Steven Khalil. Staying true to her personality, Christie wanted a disheveled look to her gown while remaining sexy and glamorous. The gown (with a two and half metre long train) was made from double-silk crepe and overlaid in silk tulle. The gown was adorned with hand embroidered silk flowers and ostrich feathers. Christie also wore a three and a half metre veil.

Planners Staging Connections worked with florsit Lyndal Kennedy to fill the venue with roses.
