Melbourne designer Gwendolynne Burkin captured my heart many moons again when I spotted an amazing creation she’d designed.
With a fresh website and beautiful photography, it was only fitting to introudce her to the readers of Polka Dot Bride.
Gwendolynne designs only on “gut reaction and instinct”. With a background in pattern making, Gwendolynne uses exquisite cuts, stunning fabrics and creativity.
There’s a sense of dramatic, feminine elegance to her designs – the spiderweb of lace, the draping of the beaded headpieces that is simply beautiful.

Remember a few weeks ago I mentioned a special offer from Rose & Ruby for Polka Dot Bride readers? Well here it is!

That one walk back down the aisle once you’re married is full of sunshine. I think this photo of Sandrina and Jay’s wedding (see more here) by Dave and Charlotte captures the joy.
Sandrina, Jay and their bridal party donned retro sunglasses for the processional.

Welcome back to the gorgeous celebration of Jasmine and Callum’s wedding!

Jasmine and Callum describe their wedding as one of the happiest days of their lives. Although it happened very quickly, they were surrounded by all of their loved ones which helped make the day into a repesenration of themselves. The couple chose elements that made the day true to who they are.

Jasmine and Callum partied with their guests at Witches Chase Cheese Company in Mount Tamborine. A family friend made a black and white cake topped with calla lillies.

Thankyou for sharing your wedding day with Polka Dot Bride Jasmine and Callum! Congratulations on your marriage! Thankyou also to Broderick Photography for sharing the photographs today!
