Bonnie and Paul – The Celebration
Second day in of real wedding week and so much eye candy to share!
Bonnie and Paul wnated their wedding day to be very elegant with a hint of formal glamour- I think the wedidng says it perfectly!

Table settings feature crystal chandelier candelabras, pink flowers and copper frames and were created by Angels Dreaming.

The beautiful damask inspired cakes were created by Angels Dreaming and Polka Dot Cookies & Cakes.

Bonnie and Paul’s MC was a little nervous and accidentally introduced the couple with Bonnie’s maiden name- a name which paul is now known by!

Bonnie and Paul held their reception at The Tea Room, Queen Victoria Building. With it’s Florence Broadhurst wallpaper, high ceilings, chandeliers and rich history made it the perfect choice.

Bonnie and Paul also served a “cheese cake” layers of delicious cheeses with fresh figs.

Bonnie and Paul’s first dance to “Never Tear Us Apart” by INXS (Paul’s favourite band and song) was a highlight for Bonnie- she had barely seen Paul all night and the couple took to the dancefloor in an unpracticed dance and took in the moment.
After the dancefloor, the couple headed back to their hotel- The Hilton, who had kindly cordoned of the Zeta Bar for the wedding guests. Most of their 80 guests celebrated with them through the night- with Bonnie’s mother falling asleep in a couch by the fire.
Thankyou Bonnie and Paul for sharing your beautiful wedding day on Polka Dot Bride (You can find Bonnie at Amour Amour). We wish you the most magical life together. Thankyou also to Leigh at SugarLove Weddings for sending over the gorgeous photos!

I love the simple elegance of this wedding. The champaign colors paired with the crystal looks great, as does the bride. Her dress is absolutely gorgeous!
