I’m so excited about today’s wedding! I’ve been wanting to share the work of You Can’t Be Serious with you for ages and I’ve had so many lovely emails from brides telling me how fabulous they are.
So today we have a delicious wedding from you hot off the presses The wedding of Claire and Tim!
Claire and Tim’s wedding was filled with family and friends- from bouquets to cakes to being married by Tim’s friend.
Claire walked down the aisle to “God Only Knows” by The Beach Boys. The band was made up from students from the high school where Tim teaches.
Claire and Tim married at the Melbourne Zoo under a Moreton Bay Fig Tree.
Claire wore a gown by Melbourne designer Gwendolynne Burkin and pearl earrings gifted from her parents. Her mother and her mother’s best friend arranged her bouquet after taking a flower arranging course together (Both their daughters were marrying in a few months of each other).
The bridesmaids wore chocolate gowns from Jigsaw while the men wore suits from Country Road.
Check back this afternoon for a great little treat at Tim and Claire’s wedding and their zoo reception!

Oh I love Gwendolynne’s designs. Claire’s gown looks gorgeous. Gwendolynne’s design studio is around the corner from where I lived in Melbourne. I love walking past there and swooning at her lovely designs. Thanks for sharing this beautiful wedding.
