A softer tablescape this afternoon. (this feels like one of those features where you can change the room for different styles!) I called this one “Vintage Rose” the soft laette, the cream, the peachy pink roses, wooden candelabras evoke a softer feel.
I love the old fashioned doily style table overlay and the pattern on the china. The little details and textures add a little extra charm. This table scape lit up by candle lit would create such a pretty, warm glow at your reception.

I thought I’d share a few gorgeous tablescapes today sent over by the lovely Calli of Calli B Photography. Two completely different looks to inspire you!
I named this one “Garden Glamour”, but it’s not a traditional English style garden whose influence we see in weddings a lot nowadays, it’s more of a richly hued, tropical garden without being overpowering.
Tall arrangements, stunning green china, masses of flowers in pinks and creams in mismatched glass containers and the latte lace style doily table overlay.

When I was younger, I would write out wedding themes in notebooks. I’d draw the table setup, choose the songs, write out pages of ideas to bring that special element to life. I don’t think it was ever about me, but rather a chance to get creative and dream.
Martha Stewart Weddings just celebrated their 15th anniversary. I have loved this magazine for so long, but I think my favourite issue is their anniversary one. With a look back at older stories with a fresh take, quotes from those in the industry and their favourite touches, I am still pouring over the pages.
One of the styled wedding collections I have to share with you today is one I played with when I was younger- a wedding themed around the magic of stars. I love this look- simple, soft metallics and the glittery stars (certainly gives a whole new meaning to using Frank Sinatra’s “Fly Me To The Moon” as your wedding waltz). Beautiful! See more on their website.

It’s really exciting to me to see Australian businesses pushing really great ideas out (and allowing me to share them!). Today I get to share with you a beautiful dessert table inspired by the glamour of yesteryear.
Kristy at Imbue Weddings sent over today’s gorgeous table. With a colour palette of black and white, Kristy used milk glass sundae cups, tiered cake stands, black candlesticks, clear glass jars and black plates to tie it together. A big bunch of pink toned roses with individual blooms grouped along the table add softness. The lollies (or candy) in tones of black, white and a hit of decadent chocolate complete the display.
