Palette Generator – Marie Antoinette Style

I recently wrote about the cool little tool from Pronovias via Brides which generates fab new colour combinations for your wedding.

I just came across an even more inspiring one- but this one has a twist, it’s up to you!

The Palette Generator allows you upload the photo of your choice (and since we’re in wedding mode lets tailor it to our wedding!) and the generator will tell you the colours you could use to bring your inspiration to life.

Let’s take this gorgeous photo from the Kirsten Dunst film Marie Antoinette (a must see for colour inspiration!)

Upload the file to the palette generator and voila- it gives us this

Oh the possibilities! A wedding featuring soft greys, neutral browns and soft pinks with a touch of rich red and brown.

This bouquet from Brides in Bloom fits the bill

This cake from Planet Cake with its intricate detailing would work well
