This story came to light a few weeks ago but did get me thinking about what lengths you would go to as a bride if something went wrong.

Elana Gatt, of New York recently got married. But she claims her florist ruined her theme and caused extreme distress and is asking for $400,000 in restitution and damages.

The florist allegedly substituted pastel pink and green hydrangeas for the dark rust and green ones she had specified for 22 centerpieces. The flowers allegedley were also wilted, brown and arranged in dusty vases without adequate water.

The flowers cost them $27,435.14. There was no contract.

So what do you think? Should she be taking the legal action? Should she be letting it go? Where is the line for your service providers?
