Arizona photographer Melissa Jill captured this stunning wedding in Fountain Hills, Arizona. I’ve long been a fan of the gorgeous work of Melissa does and was so excited to see the details of this wedding.

I get so many questions about using Australian natives in wedding bouquets. While this wedding was shot in Arizona by Melissa, it incorporated some of my favourite Australian natives (or South African flowers – the two are often confused)!

Al & Donna had such an elegant and tender celebration, it was beautiful to look over the photos.

Donna’s wedding bouquet- using leucodendrons, banksias and proteas amongst gorgeous green leaves bound with creamy satin ribbon.

The gorgeous bride Donna was escorted down the aisle by her daughters.

Love Donna’s gown! A truly elegant bride!

Here’s the handsome groom Al – look at the way he looks at Donna

I love this shot – during the ceremony, Donna’s daughters started to cry which led to many laughs.

Married!

A family portrait! The newlyweds with Donna’s daughters and Al’s sons.

The deliciously gorgeous details- banksias, proteas and leucodendrons in pots sat on each table. The gorgeous flowers also adorned the wedding cake. Each chair uses a neutral wrap which compliments the flowers and the landscape.

Al and Donna also had flamenco dancers

And lots of love and hugs.

The bride and groom and their guests dined under the stars.

Thank you to Melissa Jill for allowing me to share such a gorgeous wedding. Congratulations Donna and Al on your nuptials!
