I love red carpet fashion. Especially when we see so much of it pass into bridal fashion.

White and pastels seems to be a favourite at award ceremonies this year. Some more bridal then you might ever expect to see on a red carpet.

Taraji P. Henson (Roberto Cavalli), Marisa Tomei (Versace)

Miley Cyrus (Zuhair Murhad), Sarah Jessica Parker (Dior)

Evan Rachel Wood (Elie Saab), Anne Hathaway (Armani Prive)

Penelope Cruz (Vintage Balmain)

Vivid colour wasn’t left out. With beautiful details like bold beaded necklaces.

Kate Winslet (Yves Saint Laurent), Amy Adams (Carolina Herrera)

Any idea who each lady is wearing? I particularly love Evan Rachel Wood’s and Marisa Tomei’s dress. Divine!

I *loved* Sarah Jessica Parker and Penelope Cruz’s dresses. And I thought tons of stuff had “wedding” written all over it too! or maybe I am just too tuned into wedding planning at the moment

Absolutely stunning display of gowns this year plus hair & make-up were really classy. Such inspiration for brides to be! Loved the red carpet and most of the ceremony – the unique presentation of actors/actresses awards, the whole Bollywood meets West music performance and gosh, what’s not to love about Hugh? 😉
