I’m back with part two of Emma and John’s Perth wedding!

Emma’s bridesmaids wore gowns from Jealousy Bridal while the guys wore suits by Tony Barlow Menswear.

Emma’s favourite moment was taking a private walk with John through Perth’s Kings Park.

Emma and John’s reception at Matilda Bay Restaurant was filled with personal touches. As a nod to John’s Polish heritage, each guest was given a miniature bottle of vodka. During the best man’s speech, the guests saluted with their bottles and broke out in a traditional celebratory Polish song! Emma and her bridesmaids estimated that their DIY stationery took over 100 hours to complete! The wedding menus were created with the help of Tess of Paper Fusion.

Emma and John had a close friend choreograph their bridal waltz to Frank Sinatra’s “The Way You Look Tonight” Emma’s mother said it was one of the standout moments for her, her words were, “you had to pick my jaw up off the ground”.

Emma’s father (who is deaf) made a speech with the help of her brother. Although he was very nervous, it was a highlight of the wedding day for the couple, and he even cracked a joke!

John’s best friend disappeared  from the reception for awhile – his secret mission? Arranging rose petals in the shape of a love heart on the couples bed in their honeymoon suite!

Thank you Emma and John for sharing your beautiful, heartfelt celebration with Polka Dot Bride! Thank you also to Jennifer Regan of Anna Rose Photography for sharing the photographs with us!
