Time to get down to business with Jen and Chad’s glorious peacock coloured wedding!

Today’s photos are by Lara Adkins Hanlon of Lara Hanlon Photography

Jen walked down the aisle to a song written for her by her friend Joe. Joe played Jen down the aisle with his guitar. Jen and Chad had their ceremony performed by Jen’s good friend and mentor Dr Pamela Owens.

Instead of a traditional wedding cake, Jen & Chad ordered towers of cupcakes from Cupcake Island

When it was time for the champagne toasts, the couple broke two corkscrews trying to open the obligatory bubbly!

Legacy Hall allowed the couple to bring everything in which gave Jen and Chad freedom to DIY as many details as they wanted to! The couple chose Hap Abraham Catering who served up the couple’s favourites – enchiladas, Spanish rice and even a pasta bar.

The couple danced their first dance to Duffy’s Syrup and Honey. Afterwards, everyone hit the dance floor for a night of celebration!

Early in the day, Jen gave each of her girls a wooden spoon with a note.

The tune “Living On A Prayer” sounded even better with a wooden spoon microphone.

Jen and Chad, thank you for allowing me to share your beautiful, relaxed celebration on Polka Dot Bride! Thank you also to Lara Hanlon Photography for sending over the snapshots!
