I’ve come to really love stationery since I’ve been writing Polka Dot Bride and have actively tried to follow the innovations and work of the artisans producing fantastic work.

Bespoke Press is one of those. Owner Alischa has a background in commercial graphic design and started the business when she went looking for a seachange.

Based in Brisbane Bespoke Press creates the most beautiful letterpress stationery suites for weddings. Each suite is custom made for the client and each design to unique to the couple. Bespoke Press handprints each invitation and can create accompanying pieces such as RSVP cards, tags and place cards. Each piece is printed on 100% cotton paper imported from the USA.

The Bespoke Press blog features beautiful smearings of paint, inspirations and latest work- all complimented with arrangements of gorgeous flowers and print covered in the most vibrant of colours.

Part of the joy of reading the Bespoke press blog is hearing about the moods of the two presses- Charlie is a press from 1893 while Herbie is a newer addition from 1973.

In addition to stationery, Bespoke Press has also created a line of beautifully package candles, soaps and hand creams which act as gorgeous place cards at your wedding. They also sell limited edition letterpress prints from their shop.
