Designer Henry Roth and Polka Dot Bride present a brilliant ‘Win Your Dream Wedding Dress’ event!!

Today’s competition is quite simply the biggest we will run all year! It’s become somewhat of a tradition (see our 2008 and 2009 competitions!) and one that we’re proud to continue with the fantastic Henry Roth brand! In 2008 it was a wedding gown, in 2009 it was four bridesmaids’ gowns, and this year? It’s the wedding gown of your dreams!

That’s right Polka Dot Bridettes! For one lucky bride, Henry Roth is giving away any single wedding dress of your choice from the Henry Roth range – you can choose the gown of your dreams! Polka Dot Bride will put the winner in touch with designer Henry Roth, who will personally consult with you on your measurements, ordering your gown procedures, time scale and how you are thinking of customizing your gown – including hair, make up and veil, jewellery, shoes and more.

Henry Roth and his family have been dressing brides for over 50 years and Henry himself grew up with wedding dresses running through his veins. His parents founded the business and today work with him, and his sister Michelle, not only selling gowns to Australian brides, but also exclusively through New York’s best loved bridal destination – Kleinfeld.

The ultimate wedding fantasy of winning your own dream wedding gown just got a whole lot more… real!

So, Good Luck, great frocking and enjoy your ‘Win Your Dream Wedding Dress’ Competition!!!

How do I enter?

As in the previous competitions, this competition is all about inspiration boards! Inspiration boards are one of my favourite things in the wedding world. You can pull together every element of a fabulous wedding in pictures to create a real ‘feel’ for the event. Check out any wedding blog and you’ll see plenty of these – you can check out previous Polka Dot Bride boards here.

Create your unique inspiration board highlighting the one wedding dress you have your heart set on from the current Henry Roth wedding dress collection.

Plan for your story board to clearly illustrate how the Henry Roth gown you adore, would work in the context of your proposed wedding theme, colour choices, flowers, reception, (as some of many areas of your wedding you may think of highlighting).

Entries that are bold, and ideas that are well-edited, helps to capture our attention and give it the ‘wow’ factor!

Your board can include as many or as few photos as you like – tell the story of your wedding, show off your style and creativity!

Please credit all sources of the pictures you use to create your board (i.e instead of ‘Google images’ try and find the exact source) and link to them. If in doubt, it’s best to leave the image out!).

Entries must be emailed  in a jpg, pdf or gif format with your full name and image credits to [email protected] by 11.55 p.m. Eastern Standard Time, November 30th, 2010.

As per our last competitions, once the close date has passed, Polka Dot Bride readers will be asked to vote for their favourite entry. Voting will be open for two weeks. The top three entries will then be given to Henry Roth who will choose the ultimate winner.

How Do I Make An Inspiration Board?

You can make a board using any graphics program like Photoshop or Paintshop.  Simply save the images you’d like to use and arrange them in a document. Mrs Lemon at Weddingbee has written a tutorial on using Photoshop for your inspiration boards, A very easy way, is to use an online tool called Mosaic Maker where you can upload your pics and create a simple but effective board over at Flickr tools. A third way is to use Polyvore, which allows you to drop images in from any source.

Please credit all sources of the pictures you use to create your board (i.e instead of ‘Google images’ try and find the exact source) and link to them. If in doubt, it’s best to leave the image out!).

Your entry must contain at least one photo of your dream gown from henryroth.com.au.
