Oh Australian designers- what an incredible talent you are! Brisbane designer Hilde Heim is no exception and popped onto my radar a few years ago. With 20 years of couture experience (and a German bridal boutique) behind her, Hilde came to Brisbane in 2004 and has since expanded to have her gowns stocked in boutiques all over Australia.
Hilde’s designs are full of European flavour, with bold details- they still retain a beautiful elegance. I love the styling of these gowns- a classic ballgown shape with a bow and sparkly bodice, a light as a feather skirt, flower embellished straps, pleating or unique use of colour.

There really is a dress for everyone from the Hilda Heim collection! Brides will have a hard time choosing their favourite one. I’d say the second one is my pick, reminds me of a cheeky fairy or pixie. Great for a whimsical wedding with a difference. – Cas.
