Good morning Polka Dot Bridettes! Another week full of fantastic features from the ever talented wedding world for you this week!
As we do every Monday morning, it’s time to showcase a vendor from Ms Polka Dot’s Directory! The vendors who support Polka Dot Bride are pretty amazing my friends. Not only are they brilliantly talented at what they do, but they love Polka Dot Bride readers because you think outside the box and you want to make your wedding personal…..which after all is pretty much what I try and inspire you to do every day! Supporting them means we can continue to put up inspiring images and ideas for you every day, so take a browse and see if your perfect vendor is waiting for you!
This week’s vendor is the gorgeously talented Sydney photographer Lucy Leonardi Photography. Lucy has such a beautiful femininity to her work, a romance which I just adore. Her shots capture the blissful details, the beautiful moments and the unexpected looks and laughter. Each photo envelopes me into the moment.
Lucy Leonardi completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts at the College of Fine Arts UNSW in 2003 and furthered her skills at the Australian Centre of Photography. Her skill is constantly called upon by those in the industry (she was the photographer at Faye Cahill’s wedding!) and her attention to detail? Well it constantly sets her apart.
To learn a little more about Lucy Leonardi Photography,we asked Lucy five questions in five minutes!

Your favourite wedding story?
It’s about one of the couples I photographed. The groom shared with the guests in his speech, how he tracked down his wife back then. She was the stewardess and he was the passenger. It was love at first sight for him but he didn’t have the chance to get her contact details, only name. So he tried out every email combination to the airplane company and finally it got to her inbox!
