It can be a tough feat for the bride who wants to wear flat shoes on her wedding day. Today, I went on a shoe hunt (it’s a tough gig!) and came up with these stylish options for the Australian bride who wants to keep her feet on the ground on her wedding day.

Shoes available at time of publication. “Chloe” by Cinderella Bella,  “Beauty” from Georgies Bridal Shoes, “Sarah” ballet flats from Pia Trantoni,

Wittner “Tack” Peeptoes, “Liz” Ballerina shoes from Xiomara,  “Honey”  leather sandals from Bridal Blitz,

“Flashy” Satin Ballet Shoes from Shoe Show, “Ballroom Blitz” shoes from Gary Castles Sydney, “Lucinda” flats by Jane Debster

“Bride” Rhinestone leather flats from Steve Madden, “Petula” white shoes from Shoes With Style, “Emilia” ballerina shoes from Xiomara

“Gorgeous” flats from Suna Shoes, Oroton Essential Flat in Light Gold, , “Samantha” by Badgley Mishcka available from Cinderella Bella

Now that your work is done searching for pretty flats for brides, can you please do an article on stylish flats for wedding stylists….I keep dreaming of being allowed to work in converse sneakers…dreaming only, not actually doing, promise!

Oh Alicia, I believe that is a perfect challenge for Polka Dot Wisdom- what are your requirements in colour and style?

and I am all for a pair of Converse actually- one of my favourite ladies in the US Saundra Hadley wears them to every wedding and rocks them! http://planningforever.com/blog/chuck-taylors/

Think it may be time to follow in Ms Hadlety’s shoes (converse of course)….I need black, flat, stylish, comfortable, not too narrow, not too orthpoedic, able to cope with dashing out over lawns and then inside to a beautiful venue….I could but won’t share photos of the beautiful, beautiful beloved Armani flats that just died because they, frankly, were not designed to do dashes across lawns…it’s too sad…they were so pretty…I am in shoe mourning…and I lost them because I should not have been wearing them to death at work 🙁
