Good morning Polka Dot Bridettes! I’m so glad it’s Friday (though truth be told I hope I am sitting on a beach fairly soon!) It’s quiet on the news front this week but I do have some goodies to share!

We’ve had lots of fun talk on the Polka Dot specialty blogs this week (subscribe to all our blogs at once in your feedreader by using this link or hit the subscribe tab on each individual blog to subscribe to each feed!)

Hens.com.au have launched evites for Hen’s parties! Adding to their range of products for hen’s parties, Sucheta has created evites which provide online RSVP tracking, the ability to personalise invitations and send online and a large range of designs. Check out the website for more information.

I love a beautiful tea set, having tea is something of a ritual in my day- I love this modern take on the classic tea set style from Nick Munro available from Royal Selangor in Melbourne’s Block Arcade or online through the Royal Selangor website.  Nick Munro hails from England and fuses design traditions from both Eastern and Western cultures. This latest design is inspired by the Song period. Wouldn’t it be a lovely wedding gift?

Did you see the beautiful Kathryn of Snippet & Ink finally shared her wedding photos? I was in tears at her wedding video and she looks like a royal princess in her wedding photos (which were featured on Martha Stewart this week!) Congratulations Kathryn & Ryan! Check out Kathryn’s blog for more!

The Australian Institute of Professional Photographers (AIPP) held their NSW awards night last weekend Ryan Schembri took out photographer of the year and wedding photographer of the year while Jackie Chan won wedding album of the year and Graham Monro the portrait album! Congratulations to the winners! View the full list of winners here. In the ACT AIPP awards (also held this week) Dan O’Day took out the wedding category. Check the AIPP ACT blog for more!

Now it’s your turn! Tell me your news dear readers!
