Fancy an intimate wedding for two? Just you and your loved one? With a decadent dinner, a beautiful setting and a ceremony just for two? That’s the inspiration behind today’s gorgeous “Intimate Romance” wedding inspiration shoot put together by a creative group of Sydney wedding professionals. The team says “For this shoot we were inspired to create an atmosphere of intimate, luxurious romance within the gorgeous grounds of Bells Killcare. Taking cues from the elegant styling of the venue, a concept of an intimate wedding for two was created. A couple so in love they have left the rest of the world behind to escape and be married. Just the two of them.”

The team behind today’s shoot? The shoot took place at Bells At Killcare. Photography by Milton Gan, styling by Oscar & Ruby, gowns from Savvy Brides, marquees and furniture from Splendid Days, jewellery by Samantha Wills, flowers by Aleksandra, makeup by Makeup By Megan, hair by Tobi Henney Make-up and Hair, Stationery by Rachel Lintin, cakes by Sweet Bloom Cakes, shoes & hairpiece by Cinderella Bella and models were Izi Simundic and Shane Foreman.

“The jewellery that we were fortunate enough to use is from the new line of bridal pieces by Samantha Wills. The perfect luxurious accessories for our bride, the pieces speak to old world charm, romance and glamour.”

“The stationery by Rachel Lintin features a love note and map from the groom to be. Inviting his beloved to a private wedding for two.”

“In keeping with the decadent theme, the bride wore luxurious and embellished designer gowns from Savvy Brides and stunning jeweled shoes and headpiece from Cinderella Bella.”

“The table dressed with decadence for two, features all the trimmings of a traditional wedding. His and her mini cakes by Sweet Bloom Cakes and delicious small sputini plates featuring items from the menu such as cured ocean trout rotolo and fish crudo with citrus from the Bells at Killcare restaurant ensure that this couple experience all the best parts of a wedding. Just minus the guests!”

“TIP: Polkadot bride readers can steal this look by asking their venue to dress the bridal table with luxurious place settings just for them. Couples can source their own vintage plates/cutlery napkins etc (even raid your own cupboards!). This could be challenging to do for 100 guests, but achievable when providing for the bridal party only.”

“The floral work by Aleksandra incorporated an abundance of freshly bloomed camellias. In shades of white, red and pink the same flower was used consistently throughout to balance the use of pattern in the place settings and marquee.”

“As the sun sets on our couples big day they move out to the tea marquee, an enchanting and elegant space built for two, as supplied by Splendid Days. Lusciously draped, this captivating couple’s retreat is a haven for intimacy and romance. With a sophisticated and sumptuous charm, it holds all a couple requires by way of pitted linen ottomans, detailed oak chairs, luxurious throws, variety of stunning cushions and assorted details to complement the colour palette.”

“TIP: The tea marquee and all of the related furniture and accessory pieces can be utilized at weddings as a luxurious, yet comfortable shaded retreat for guests to relax and take in the atmosphere with a glass of champagne!”
