Perhaps the most exciting thing in flowers in recent times is the trend towards letting flowers just do their thing: “like they were just picked out of a garden”. I hear it from so many clients – and I feel so relieved as I am reluctant to torture flowers into heavily manipulated designs. We are seeing fewer monochromatic, single level, single variety posies, and in their place, combinations of whatever is best in season, perhaps following a colour scheme or general ‘vibe’. Gone are the days of artificially bent leaves and decapitated roses stuffed into square vases. Flowers can really set the mood in a venue and the more natural the look, the more relaxed the vibe.

Ms Gingham says: Some more floral inspiration this week from Blooming Brides. So romantic, natural and seemingly effortless. Gorgeous!

We asked Rita what her favourite wedding story was: “Any story that ends with “and they lived happily ever after, thanks to a whole lot of patience, kindness, tolerance and flowers from Blooming Brides!”
