It’s just good etiquette to send thank-you notes to all of your guests after the wedding. But way before the wedding even happens, be sure to send lots and lots of thank-you’s to all of the people who are being so generous with their time, their ideas, their talents and their wallets all in the name of bringing your big day to life.

Bridesmaids spend over $1,000 for each wedding they’re in. From their dress to their shoes to bridal shower to be in your bridal party. Even more valuable than their money is their time. That definitely deserves a thank-you, and receiving one refreshes a bridesmaid’s love for you.

“I was in one bridal party where I only heard from the bride when she wanted something, and also received harsh texts for not responding right away,” says one bridesmaids, who asks to be kept anonymous. “I didn’t like her very much during that time, and our friendship took a bit of a hit.”

That same bridesmaid was in another bridal party: “It was an entirely different experience, since the bride was so appreciative, and took the time to send a great little thank-you note and gift right after we ordered our dresses. I have to admit, I put more effort into her shower.”

Parents. No matter how much they’re spending on the wedding. Imagine how surprised your mom, and his mom, will be to get a little bouquet of flowers from you, a sweet note, some chocolates… just a little something to say, “I really appreciate all you’re doing.”

Vendors. Think about it. They’re working a dozen weddings, or more. They’re doing 15 hour days. Handling difficult suppliers and difficult brides. Their own teething toddlers. Life is demanding for every wedding vendor out there, and the surprise of a sweet thank-you note to them positively makes their day. You have no idea how much.

You can choose from a plethora of gifts as our little collection proves or even just a handwritten note will bring a smile to someone’s face and that’s really the most important thing.

Ms Gingham says: Some of the gifts here are my all time favourite products. If you take notice of what these important people in your life really like you can show your appreciation in such a lovely way. Believe me, it makes all the difference.
