Lisa & Shaun

What a beautiful, whimsical wedding I have for you today. So many pretty little moments, so many pretty little details and plenty of creative delights for your eyes to feast on!

Lisa and Shaun had a secret office romance that turned into something a little more!

Photography today is by Bayly & Moore (who also made a fantastic stop motion film of the wedding I’ll be sharing a bit later). I love the team’s fun and whimsical captures.

Lisa wore a gown from Samantha Wynne while her bridesmaids wore pale pink frocks from Alannah Hill. The bouquets were styled by Fox and Rabbit.

Transport on the day was provided by Perth Tram Tours.

Machell Styling styled the ceremony which included a mishmash of wooden furniture from Her Hand Picked Harvest .

The couple held their ceremony in the Sunken Gardens, University of Western Australia.

Lisa and Shaun walked down the aisle together to ‘Highland Cathedral’ by Phil Coulter.

The ceremony had it’s own sweet moments. Lisa recalls, “I pulled a rose from my bouquet and gave it to my mum on our way down the aisle and then after the ceremony I pulled out another rose and gave it to my new mother in law before we walked back down. ”

“My bridesmaids did a blessing dance around us after we were pronounced husband and wife which was so special.”

Lisa describes the feel of the day as “Whimsical, nostalgic and eclectic. The couple served homemade drinks after the ceremony and plenty of bubbles.

The bridal party had a little picnic together to make sure they had full tummies for the photographs and a few moments of quiet reflection together.

Of their photographers, Lisa says “Bayly & Moore were amazing to work with, so easy going and fun with such a unique way of capturing and documenting it all. We were delighted to have them a part of our day!”

Lisa and Shaun held their reception at Moore & Moore, Fremantle. The styling was by Machell Styling.

The bride created plenty of the wedding elements together with her bridesmaids and family. Lisa recalls “My bridesmaids, friends, mum and I made between us, some stationary elements, a magnetic blackboard, little guestbooks for tables, ceremony booklets, herbs potted in little teacups, my garter and headpiece, lemonade and iced tea for at the reception, and collected many teacups, vintage style napkins, woodland details, photos, old books and props etc.”

The first dance, “Was a low key little dance to ‘Magic Moments’ by Burt Bacharach.”

Congratulations Lisa and Shaun! Thank you for sharing your wedding day with us! Thank you also to Bayly & Moore for sharing today’s images (and stay tuned for the stop motion wedding film coming up!)
