Possibly one of the most popular florals in Australia and the world at the moment has to be peony roses. Peony roses are available generally at the end of October through to the start of December. During late April through to June they are more readily available for importing, which is the Europe late spring. They are also available to import throughout the year, however can get quite expensive!

Classic peony roses are typically available in white, soft pink, mid pink, hot pink and red tones. One of the most gorgeous aspects of peony roses is their versatility. The closed blooms are smaller, rounded and really classic/elegant in look. The imported peony roses tend to have a fuller rounded bloom, differing slightly from the locally grown varieties.
The open blooms are much more relaxed, feathery and soft with a gorgeous whimsical charm. Coral Charm peony roses start slightly earlier then the standard peony roses and have a really, really large, open bloom with yellow centre.

Peony roses are perfect as cake florals, due to their durability, full bloom and feathery texture.
Peony roses can be used as buttonholes, however they can get a bit big in full bloom. Try to ask for the smaller closed blooms for the buttonholes.
