Hang & Will

I’m excited to showcase Hang and Will’s wedding- they celebrated their reception at one of my favourite restaurants (slow cooked pork belly, yummy!) and had such an incredibly beautiful garden ceremony before hand.

Photography is by Maho & Pea – it’s slightly edgy and raw with such a Melbourne feel to it!

Will wore a suit from P Johnson while his groomsmen wore Ted Baker.

Hang’s outfit started with her shoes- Melissa by Vivian Westwood angel wing heels.

Hang wore a gown and hairpiece by Anna CampbellSweet Caroline styled the girls’ hair and makeup.

Hang’s bridesmaids chose inky blue gowns from Fleur Wood.

Hang and Will chose Abbotsford Convent as their ceremony location. Hang says “Abbotsford Convent was chosen for the mix of traditional garden and industrial buildings”.

Hang walked down the aisle to an acoustic version of Yeah Yeah Yeahs ‘Hysteric‘.

The bouquets and floral arrangements were styled by My Flowerhouse.

Of their photographer, Hang says “We wanted candid and less traditional shots with a vintage feel and got just that. Peta and Matt (Maho and Pea) gave us just that, their photos were stunning and captured the day perfectly. They were both professional and relaxed and we loved having them with us on the day. ”

Hang and Will continued the celebration by holding their reception at Red Spice Road. Hang says “Red Spice Road was chosen for the look and feel of the restaurant and the delicious food.”

Hang says ” The ceremony was very relaxed and fun, and the reception was a blast with great food and music.”

Guests received favors of chocolates in noodle boxes tied with ribbon and decorated with a custom designed sticker.

Hang’s bridesmaid made the three tier wedding cake covered in sheets of white chocolate.

For their first dance, Hang remembers “It was with all of our friends to Pulp’s ‘Disco 2000’! ”

Congratulations Hang and Will! Thank you for sharing your wedding day with us! Thank you also to Maho & Pea for sharing today’s photographs!
