Stamped Initial Bouquet Charm Tutorial

Your bouquet handle is an easily overlooked detail of a wedding. Add a personalised touch with this couldn’t-be-easier craft.

You will need:

  • craft clay (make it the air-dry type so you don’t even need to switch on the oven)
  • rolling pin
  • small round biscuit cutter, approx 5cm (or if you’re not a baker, anything round will do)
  • wooden skewer or toothpick
  • rubber letter stamps
  • ribbon

1. Roll out the clay to a thickness of 3-4mm.

2. Cut out a small circle using the biscuit cutter.

3. Using the skewer, make a hole near the top of the circle big enough for your ribbon. Remove excess clay around the edge of the circle.

4. Use the rubber stamps to write your initials or any other message you wish. Set aside and allow to dry thoroughly.

Just before the big day, provide your ribbon and charm to your florist.

While you’re about it, you can make bridesmaid bouquet charms, favour tags, table numbers… get creative!
