DIY Invitation Tutorial

Planning a wedding with just 25 guests meant I only needed 15 invitations. I wanted something super simple, yet easy on the eye. I scoured the internet high and low and came up with these. The card and stock came from Straight Home.

I got this fabulous Rubber Stamp Set from Curly Tree and the inkpad from Officeworks.

To achieve the super simple effect, I used fonts The Only Exception and Mrs Eaves Roman.

The Kraft Tags were from Paper Cotton Love and I found the twine at The Reject Shop!

For under $100 I have enough supplies for: Invitations, RSVP cards, welcome letters, order of service cards, menus, guest book, favour tags & thank you notes.

Ms Gingham says: Oooo I love these! I can imagine such an elegant and sophisticated event is on it’s way. And the twine and kraft tags suggest a hint of rustic charm too! But I guess I’ll have to wait and see!

We’re having an intimate wedding at Maui Palms, Fiji in January 2013 with our immediate families & closest friends. It’s a place extremely close to our hearts, as it’s not only a place we’ve visited 3 times before, but the place we got engaged. You can read our engagement story here.
