This gorgeous Autumn inspiration shoot seemed just the ticket to send the colder weather off in style. I couldn’t pass up a bouquet with apples and gum nuts now could I? Autumn is really only six months away, so for couples holding Autumn celebrations, I thought the rich jewel tones and unique details, embracing of colour and texture were something easy to translate into your own wedding.

Photographer Leah Kua teamed up with stylist Sorry I’m Late by Olivera to create an inspiration shoot inspired by, ” luscious fruits, fairytales and the vibrant colours of Autumn with shades of red, green and gold.  Sorry I’m Late by Olivera styled our exquisite vintage gown with bold Alannah Hilll accessories and modern booties in dusty pink from Susie Sawaya  to inject colour and a touch of quirk was included in the florals by Butterfly Philosophy, dotted with apples, pomegranates and gumnuts.”

Follow Studio created a simple and beautiful stationery suite.

Leah says “The incredible team behind this shoot wanted to work with an idea that was a little different, a little quirky to explore their creative side and encourage couples planning their wedding to think outside the box when it comes to putting their own uniqueness into their day. Fairytales and whimsy, along with strong autumn colours, came together to inspire the bold and quirky colour choices, floral arrangements and strong, statement pieces in the overall styling.”

“We called this styled shoot ‘Fairytale Whimsy’ as we wanted to play with colour and fantasy, pushing creativity and the boundaries of traditional wedding styling to really encourage couples to think about ways in which they can make their wedding uniquely them.”
