Ana and Phil
I love art galleries as wedding venues. what’s better than saying your vows surrounded by beautiful art works? Ana and Phil celebrated with such a lot of colour and fun on their wedding day and the art gallery provided the ultimate backdrop!
Ana tells their story. “We met through mutual friends and were friends for a while before we started dating.”
Gallows Gallery was chosen for the ceremony. Ana remarking, “Gallows Gallery is a small art gallery in Mosman Park. It was very fitting at the time that we had a series of paintings called “Love Conversations” by the artist Penny Hudson that adorned the walls and provided the perfect backdrop for the ceremony. We wanted somewhere intimate, indoors and unique and that is exactly what we got at Gallows Gallery.”
Ana walked down the aisle to Craig David – ‘Unbelievable’.
Ana remembers, “We stood inside a love heart of rose petals to say our vows and become husband and wife. It was very special for us.”
Ana describes it as, “Just an incredible day which we wish lasted longer.”
Of their photographer, Ana says, “Daniela Fego is amazing, she is such a lovely person and her photography is so diverse, our photos went from soft and romantic to bright and bold. We were so thrilled with the photos from our wedding day.”
Ana and Phil chose Matilda Bay Restaurant for their wedding reception. Ana explaining, “The reception was then held in the Catalina Room of Matilda Bay Restaurant. As we had such an intimate wedding, this room was perfect. It comfortably fit our five tables, including our round, central bridal table, which was wonderful because we were surrounded by the people we are closest with throughout the night. It has a beautiful terrace area that opens up off the room and overlooks Matilda Bay, so we enjoyed pre-drinks and later in the night dancing on the open air terrace overlooking the water, with views of the yacht club and Perth skyline. It was beautiful.”
Congratulations Ana and Phil on your marriage and thank you for sharing your story! Thank you also to Fego Photography for today’s images!
