Vendor of the Week – AKA Weddings

by | Blog News, Bride

Good morning Dotties! It’s a quiet one here in Polka Dot land with it being Easter Monday, but we have regular content across the blogs as normal so if you’re recovering from a little too much chocolate and a few too many hot cross buns, pour yourself a cup of tea and take a visit around!

Kicking off the week though? Our traditional spotlight on our  wedding directory, Ms Polka Dot’s Directory. We are continually adding new and fantastic vendors to add to already  wonderful pages of wedding vendors. From Favors & Decor Accessories to Celebrants to Venues and everything in between! If you’re looking for a wedding vendor who is passionate about their work, then Ms Polka Dot’s Directory is the place you have to visit!

There’s nothing like lovely wedding photographs to kick off the week and today we welcome AKA Weddings as our vendor of the week! Photographer Katja Anton is based in Queensland but travels worldwide (including her favourite region, the Mediterranean) shooting couples tying the knot! Katja has a commercial background and lends this photo journalistic edge to her work capturing wedding days.

We asked Katja from AKA Weddings five questions in five minutes –

What is your favourite after five drink?

A good ol’ classic G&T, but I love a Champagne Bellini made with fresh peaches or a chocolate Martini as a treat:)

Your favourite weekend getaway?

I am out and about working most weekends so for me a treat would be to stay home!!!

Favourite restaurant?

Ricky’s here in Noosa, Qld… and La Cerquetta in Rome, Italy!

What can we find you eating for breakfast on a Sunday morning?

I love to go to the Farmers Market for breakkie.

Your favourite wedding story?

Ah which one to pick, all so special… I’d have to go for my parents’ (!) – pizza and champagne with close friends and family… and 42 years later they are still loved up!
