I went to a cheese party on the weekend. That’s right – cheese. The fabulous hostess decided that dinner was dull and served instead platters of amazing cheese of all types and shapes, with the centrepiece being 1kg of Heston Blumenthal’s cheese fondue recipe. Dessert was, of course, cheesecake, and a fabulous crumble. Who needs a traditional main course!? Yes, we all had strange dreams that night, but I’ll be the first to admit, I’m a savoury gal. The idea of a cheese wedding cake is a delight, particularly when presented like the one above – swoon!
