Prue & Scott

These gorgeous engagement photographs that I get to share with you today of Prue & Scott come to us today from Gui Jorge.

Prue and Scott chose Sydney’s Centennial Park for their engagement photographs and the backdrops the park provides created such a beautiful setting for the couple’s engagement photographs. Prue explains, “We chose Centennial Park as the backdrop for our engagement shoot because it is just so naturally pretty and suited our relaxed nature. The light for photos there is especially beautiful in the afternoons. We wanted some engagement photos that were flattering of the both of us together, often we forget to take photos at events or only take average photos on our phones out of habit. We wanted some great photos from a talented photographer (Gui Jorge) that we could keep forever.”

Prue tells, “We met at University, we were both studying postgraduate Teaching. We were friends and then we booked a trip together to go backpacking in Vietnam. We started spending more and more time together and it went from there.”

“Too many funny stories to tell! But we have had some great times together traveling on trips to Japan, Vietnam and Indonesia (many times!). We also love going to Byron Bay and up and down the coast on surfing trips.”

Prue tells of how Scott proposed. “We were in Bali last Christmas and Scott proposed at our villa one sunny morning by the pool while I was sun baking. Scott was playing music on our sound system and proposed when the song I had requested came on ‘Somebody to love’ by Queen. It was a total surprise and shock! Scott chose a pink solitaire and diamond ring I had glimpsed from the shop front at Tiffany and Co. A year or so prior, we were taking shelter from a big storm on a walk back to get the Manly ferry at Circular Quay when we had to run under the awning of a Tiffany’s store- he remembered how I fell in love with the ring and bought it for my engagement ring.”
