If you’ve been reading Polka Dot Bride for any length of time you’ll know I am a big fan of wedding planners. Being a worry wart I love knowing someone has my back – someone is going to be there to sort out any mishaps on the day and pull it together. I also love that it means family and friends can relax a bit!
So today’s vendor of the week, Victorian based planner Mackenzi Creations who specialises in seamless, stress free planning is going to have your back right up until the moment you leave your reception!

What is your favourite after five drink?
Baileys on Ice mixed with Milk … Yummy and so smooth.
Your favourite weekend getaway?
The Beach … I’m a summer girl… Love the beach, jumping the waves and swimming.
Favourite restaurant?
Alto in Broadbeach Qld … Great food , awesome cocktails – Alto Cucina I lived in Qld for 6 months and found this spot and fell in love … Every time I visit it is a must stop…
What can we find you eating for breakfast on a Sunday morning?
Pancakes … Pan size… My dad growing up would make these huge pan size crepe like pancakes that are sooo yummy.. I make them too and my fiance loves them… I put lemon and sugar on them and sometimes a bit crazy I know but peanut butter… The pancake has to be really hot though so the peanut butter melts and then you roll it up… Goodness ! The perfect pancake recipe is – 1 cup plain flour, 1 cup of milk, 1 egg and 1 tsp sugar… Nice and easy to remember… If you want fluffy pancakes use self raising …
Your favourite wedding story?
I can’t wait for my wedding in 363 days …. But for now it will have to be Laura and Anthony one of my couples who are in New york… Married 18th dec 2011 … Amazing love for each other… Laura met Anthony as an intern and began her crush… They ended up dating .. But then Anthony was relocated to Sydney … So Laura followed… Then after some time … Anthony went over to the USA … For a while it was long distance but then she missed him too much so went over there… They have lived over there for 3 years with their son (dog) Tucker… They are both creatives working in Advertising and Laura loves the Muppets so Anthony had personalised muppets made of them both and that’s how he proposed … As a muppet… He walks her to the train everyday even in the snow to make sure she gets on safely … They have such a deep, raw and beautiful love that you only see once a life time…
