Vendor of the Week – Simon Peter Taylor

by | Blog News, Bride

Good morning Dotties! I was reading recently that October is up there as the busiest wedding month in Australia so I suspect many of you reading are close to your wedding date! Which in turn makes me very excited – bring on the weddings!

Every Monday at Polka Dot Bride, we pick one of our directory member’s names out of a polka dot tea cup (the very best kind) and show off their incredible work to the world. We are filling our pages with members every week – from interesting and incredible venues, bands, DJs and performing acts under entertainment, wedding websites and things you’d never think of under specialised services, and even ones to capture it all in motion – cinematographers!

So now’s the time to visit Ms Polka Dot’s Directory and find wedding vendors that are as individual and passionate about weddings as you could ever hope for!

I love amazing photography and today’s vendor of the week definitely ticks all the boxes! Simon Peter Taylor is based in Brisbane (but travels all over the world with his loveliest of lovely wife Simone) capturing beautiful wedding images.

We asked Simon from Simon Peter Taylor five questions in five minutes –

What is your favourite after five drink?

Your favourite weekend getaway?

Noosa – love the beach and the walk around the headland in the national park.

Favourite restaurant?

Bistro C at Noosa – their seafood spaghetti is sublime.

What can we find you eating for breakfast on a Sunday morning?

A large Campos Coffee and an omelette.

Your favourite wedding story?

At a wedding in Palm Beach I was taking location shots of the Bridal Party when we stumbled across a house party in full swing with teenagers dancing to techno. One of the bridesmaids decided it would be a good idea for us to join in – see the action here:
