What a treat it is when stunning wedding invitations land in my inbox like these watercolour wedding invitations from Melbourne studio Santiago Sunbird.

Designers Bree & Sarah, the ladies behind Santiago Sunbird have set about creating a range of customisable invitations combining watercolour illustration with beautiful design.

With everything from a classic simply painted design, to fun fiesta styles, botanical inspired creations and bold graphics full of colour and life, the invitations are set for Summer weddings with a tropical, artisan twist. The suites include save the dates, invitations, RSVP and gift registry cards with more additions like menus, seating plans and programs also available.

The invitations are so beautifully designed I can see them inviting guests to a waterside celebration with pineapple cocktails, a garden ceremony filled with the bright of blooms or a celebration with tipi marquees, Mexican papel picado and a mariachi band! If the existing designs aren’t quite right, the duo can create something just for you!

I think this one entitled “Amorcito” may just hold a special place in my heart – gold polka dots?
