The wedding gowns from designer Alana Aoun have really been catching my eye over the past few months, so I’m thrilled to share her Spring Summer 2014 collection today on the blog! Designer Alana is a Sydney designer who spent many years studying design in France under master couturiers Madame Grès and Cristobel Balenciaga before going on to work with the incredible Elie Saab.
After taking a break from her business to raise a family, Alana Aoun has hit the bridal marketplace with an incredible collection that I know you’ll fall in love with.
Entitled “Le Reve” Alana’s Spring Summer 2014 collection pays homage to her years in Paris – filled with beautiful couture detailing and the rich heritage of the couture houses. With a love of opulent detailing and elegance, combined with the traditional haute couture methods she has become skilled in – including moulage and tambour beading. Her brand new collection features incredible fabrics and detailing. Gold lace placed on a traditional ivory silhouette, blush pink fabrics are adorned with rose gold detailing, pale grey veils accentuate a classically shaped grey wedding gown. Each piece shaped to show off the female form beautifully.
