Kate and Stuart

Kate and Stuart chose a fun daytime wedding at Sydney’s Dunbar House to celebrate their marriage. With small children attending, they made sure the child friendly event had plenty of fun activities for the little ones! Captured by SugarLove Weddings the day was a sunshine filled, water cruising event filled with plenty of love and merriment.

Bride Kate wore a strapless gown by Amsale from Angela Wilson. Her bridesmaids wore slate blue gowns from Rebecca Taylor.

Kate and Stuart married at Watsons Bay Park, Dunbar House, right beside the water.

Kate walked down the aisle to All You Need Is Love played by Opus 4 String Quartet. The ceremony was performed by Robyn Pattison .

Of their photographer, Kate tells, “Our photographer was fantastic – we asked her for natural shots and the photographs were very candid.”

Celebrations continued in the homestead, Kate remembering, “Dunbar House was beautiful – the location was spectacular and the food was elegant and delicious.”

Faye Cahill created a classic three tier white cake topped with colourful blooms by Susan Avery Flowers who created the floral arrangements for the day.

Being a daytime wedding to allow for plenty of children to attend (including the couple’s own), Oscar and Ruby styled the children’s table filling it with activity boxes, lollies and toys for the littlest guests.

The day didn’t end with the lunch time meal, guests were spoiled with a special surprise. Kate tells, “After the reception at Dunbar House we all relocated to a ferry (Rosman Ferries) which took us on a cruise of the harbour for a couple of hours. The ferry was fantastic, it made the most of the harbour and extended the day nicely. We were very lucky to have a gorgeous sunny day after a week of rain and the harbour was stunning.” Kate and Stuart chose Oscar and Ruby  to style the ferry.
