central coast wedding celebrant

Wedding celebrants are such an important part of the day- well they’re actually the only way you can get married outside of a church! SO I’m a big fan of ones who are passionate about crafting a ceremony that’s perfect for you. From providing resources, to holding your hand through the process and encouraging you to create a ceremony that’s yours, Jacie from Your Bride’s Maid Celebrant Service ticks all the boxes and is one of those lovely celebrants that would be perfect to have a cup of tea with while discussing the ways of the world!

We asked Jacie from Your Bride’s Maid Celebrant Services five questions in five minutes –

What is your favourite after five drink?

I’m a non drinker so it would be cucumber water or a deliciously decadent mocktail.

Your favourite weekend getaway?

Definitely a bush or country setting like the Hunter Valley or Blue Mountains in Sydney. I recently returned from 5 weeks travelling throughout Europe and the English countryside of Bath, Devon and Axminster evoked warm and lovely feeling inside me. I’d love to do a weekend at River Cottage and learn some secrets of their simplistic yet sumptuous cooking.

Favourite restaurant?

From my life experience it would now have to be Dinner by Heston Blumenthal at the Oriental Mandarin in London-such exquisite attention to details and craftsmanship in each and every bite!

What can we find you eating for breakfast on a Sunday morning?

Most likely an egg and bacon roll with avocado and homemade relish on our back deck.

Your favourite wedding story?

As a celebrant I have so many -our wedding was one of the most special stories, it was teeming with rain at 3.30am on the day of the wedding as I prepared over 100 prawn cocktails. However by 8am it was so sunny we had to put parasols up to stop the cupcakes from melting. It truly was the best ever wedding and in the comfort of our home turned into a cocktail lounge.
