I love the colours that this time of year brings: the warm tones of reds, yellows, oranges and browns. We love seeing weddings from this time too, there’s always  a richness to the images that you can only get from the red-hued sunlight of Autumn. Just gorgeous!

The gorgeous Ripponlea Estate is playing host to an exhibition that examines the intersection between film, historic fashion and the social narratives of weddings

Love, Desire and Riches: The Fashion of Weddings will be stimulating and exploratory and will invite visitors to interact with the installation. It will include historic and iconic costumes, evocative atmosphere, food and flowers in its exploration of what makes a wedding. The exhibition will also feature dresses from world famous fashion houses, such as Valentino, Maticevski and Akira, as well as rarely seen celebrity wedding gowns from Australia and abroad.
