Who said only a groom/ bride can propose to their significant other. After being on the receiving end of an amazing proposal that involved and 8 hour journey through Melbourne, a song and an amazing ring, wedding planning has officially begun. Being in the wedding industry, I wanted to give my maids a taste of what to expect on the wedding day. So over the last 2 months with the help of some amazing suppliers, I planned my own will you be my bridesmaid party for my best girlfriends.

I wanted the day to be all things girly but without the pink. The invitations by my amazing designer Adelphi Mou set the mood for a lovely afternoon in a “secret” garden over the hill except the garden was in the middle of South Yarra.

Once the invites were sent and accepted, it was time to get onto the styling of the day. I wanted my girlfriends to feel special with personalised touches for all of them and Marita from Adelphi Mou created the bridesmaid contracts, place cards, menus, coasters, calendars, invitations & ‘will you be my bridesmaid’ cards.

I enlisted the help of my close friend and another wedding supplier Shane from Botanics of Melbourne, to create an amazing centrepiece, as well as a floral crown and flower combs for the ladies. Add in amazing catering from Create Catering who welcomed us with signature cocktails and a feast, gorgeous linen from Table Art and completed with the BEST CAKE EVER from Miss Ladybird Cakes, I can honestly say that my proposal couldn’t have gone any better.

Finally having this it all captured by Kad Photography was the icing on the cake for me. This was such a fun day out to start the wedding journey and I can’t wait till the wedding.
