To show how much we love weddings and all the elements that go into making such a special day, we’ve included images of some of our favourite moments of our real brides, captured beautifully on their wedding days.

1. Back details. At Mariana Hardwick, one of our favourite focuses is definitely the back of gowns. Whether it be buttons and loop closures running down the entire centre back or beautifully scalloped low lace backs, we try to put as much thought into a gown’s back as we do the front. 2. Cakes. At the moment, we are completely obsessed with the semi-naked layer cakes. Miss Ladybird Cakes is absolutely incredible at making them taste just as good as they look! It doesn’t sound possible but it is. These cake beauties are minimalistic yet so effective at the same time. Able to be decorated and styled in any way possible, they will make your mouth water just looking at them! Image via Miss Ladybird Cakes

3. Lace. Lace is one of our favourite fabrics to use in the Mariana Hardwick Bridal Atelier. Lace is just one of those things that holds infinite possibilities. From beautifully textured corded laces to the delicate French laces, we have the strongest passion for creating beautiful couture gowns from these because there are so many ways it can be used. 4.The Groom. We love that incredible moment, seeing the groom’s expression when they see their bride walking down the aisle! It is such a raw and heartfelt emotion that shows such genuine love and happiness. Having such special photos like this captures 1000 words, with none spoken at all.  This is definitely one that gives us the goosebumps and brings on the tears! Image via Gavin Cato

5. Flowers. Babylon Flowers is one of our favourite suppliers. We have worked with them since the moment their shop opened, from collaboration in photoshoots to personal arrangements. They create such unique bouquets every time without fail. Image via Babylon Flowers
