What is your favourite wedding theme?
For me, I always love all white for weddings. It is simple, understated and elegant. Although, depending on the bride of course, I really like metallic accents such as gold or copper to enhance a wedding.
What inspires you?
Event inspiration for me is through social media a lot. I really enjoy following international event organisers, but even just looking at blogs, Pinterest and Instagram. I know I am not alone in that I could spend hours on the internet! In saying this, a lot of the inspiration when putting weddings together for our clients is always inspired and influenced on a personal level by the couple – from what they enjoy doing together, their holiday destinations and how they met. I enjoy this because it is nice spending the time to get to know these people, and really find a way to make their wedding personal to them.
What is special about weddings to you?
For me, what is special is creating a wedding that is unique to every bride and groom – and really creating a concept and theme that the couple will love and feel excited about. Weddings can sometimes more effort than worth. For this reason, we love to really get involved and ensure we are not only a hire business, but aim to provide a really enjoyable and fun experience for the couple. There is nothing better than having a client really smile and be excited after hearing what we have presented to them… it is the best part of our day!
What is your favourite image of all time?
This is from an event of ours at a winery in Adelaide, Sunnybrae Estate. It was a beautiful setup with the festoon lighting to light up the evening, whilst still bring intimate and fun. I love this photo, and the event that we created.
What book are you reading at the moment?
My Sister’s Keeper. I am a bit late to reading it, but I am glad I finally am.
What is your Number 1 tip for brides and grooms?
This is hard – I think the best tip, is to do what you want! This is your wedding and there are so many people who will try to influence you and change your mind, but it is important to always remember that this is your day and so your wedding should reflect that!

What is the one tool of your that you can’t live without?
My one tool is probably my emails haha! I couldn’t live without them! It is probably no shock that I work in office with that answer.
What is your resolution for this year?
After a stressful and hard year, I have decided this year will be the year of fun! I am just really trying to make sure to take every day as it comes, and am remembering to enjoy every day and all the little things!
What are you excited about right now?
At the moment, we are waiting for a shipment of five new collections of furniture at work! Excited is an understatement! It is the equivalent of receiving an online purchase, except multiplied by one hundred!!
What is a special personal talent you possess?
My special talent – this is hard! My talent would be being making a really good coffee, I’m known for it in the office!
Where is your favourite place to escape to for downtime and why?
My favourite place is my shack; it is quiet and relaxing. It is in a small town outside of Adelaide, Carrickalinga. I really spending time there.
