I was always a ballerina at heart. A little pink leotard and tutu kept permanently in my closet from the time I could dance on my feet. So this beautiful French ballet inspiration photoshoot is right up my ballet loving alley.
Samantha explains the concept which was designed to inspire romantic elopements in intimate settings. “We based our vision around the idea of a French ballerina who wanted something romantic and elegant but also something natural and effortless to really put the importance on natural beauty.”
Rose & Sage Floral Design worked with overflowing florals in soft pinks, apricots and whites to give a dreamy, ethereal feel.
Kristine Huang Make-Up & Hair styled the model’s makeup. “We kept her look effortless with her hair and makeup. We wanted it to be very simple and classic, to accentuate her features but also showing her natural beauty as she was, with a pop of gloss on her lips for the French romance.”
“A rustic building with lots of greenery and florals again represented natural beauty and the European romantic look. In all, we kept the shoot simple because we although we see lots of lush and over the top weddings, we wanted to also show one that was low-key, intimate and more than anything beautifully effortless.”
