Happy Monday Dotties! It is a little quiet this week at HQ as our lovely Ms Rose headed off on the weekend to the USA! She’s even planning a grand hike while over there (I can’t wait to see her photos!) and meanwhile, here in Australia we are ready with our cups of tea for the start of another week!
We feel really lucky to be working from home keeping the bleak weather outside with a warm house, warm food and warm toes. Favourite weekend getaway?
The weekend away itself … Too many wonderful places and venues we have been to over our 10-year journey that it is hard to nominate one! Country, beach, urban and high plains – Melbourne & Greater Victoria is jammed packed for weekend getaways.
Favourite restaurant?
Melbourne is spoilt for amazing restaurants, so it depends on what cuisine and dining experience you are after. Here are some of our favourites:
Cutler and Co – As the weather changes, this restaurant is a perfect Winter indulgence
Grand Hotel in Richmond is great food, in friendly relaxed surroundings.
Ten Minutes by Tractor – Destination restaurant in Mornington Peninsula Wine country that is unbelievably good, but then again they don’t just hand out Age Good Food hats to anyone
Our upcoming favourite place to eat is the Queen Victoria Night Markets, which features some of Melbourne’s best pop up traders, great entertainment and of course seamless bar operations run by the team at F&G.
What can we find you eating for breakfast on a Sunday morning?
Mr Tuppy in Elwood. We love the breakfast sushi and the different breakfast offerings to your standard fare #awesomecoffee as well.
Your favourite wedding story?
Well it’s a bit like which one of your children is your favourite? We have so many amazing brides and grooms that we are fortunate to look after, we have so many stories. Love, laughter, great food and wine, that is all you need to have the perfect wedding and the stories abound.
