I must admit, Summer has never been my favourite season – give me roaring fires and hot chocolate and I am a happy girl. The heat and temperament of Summer have always been somewhat of an enigma to me. But today’s modern desert wedding ideas shoot may just change my mind. Bright zesty orange, clear azure blues with soft sage greens is the most beautiful colour palette for this brights loving girl.

Captured by Renee Towers Photography and White Lace Films, the team worked with stylist Coast to Country Weddings & Events , floral designer Magnolia Grove Flowers, cake designer Chocolate to Chilli, hair and makeup artist Colorpop with a stunning strapless lace gown by Elizabeth DeVarga, classic black tuxedo from Suits Direct, models Isabella Aspromourgos , Zak Cassells and a classic mustang from It’s a Must Wedding Car – there were even mini cacti from Succulent Living Designs.

Renee tells, “It actually all started when I wanted to do a shoot with the only 1966 convertible Burgundy Mustang on the Sunshine Coast – I found my vision led to a bride and groom driving through the desert and bring this desert chic feel to the whole shoot.”

A macrame table runner sat atop a raw wood table. Gold charger plates added a touch of glam with azure blue plates and glassware- mini cacti at each setting added the finishing touch.

With lace and an ombre orange colour tone, the cake was adorned with desert style bloonms.

The finishing touch? A beautiful film captured by White Lace Films.
