Deep rich tones of indigo and marsala highlight the gypsy vibes that inspired today’s offbeat garden wedding inspiration. Beautiful roses are tied with golden silks, stunning textured paper invitations are adorned with calligraphy, fresh fruit acting like gems throughout the tablescape.

Amanda of Peppermint Photography  worked with floral designer Wilde Flora, cake designer Holly Eloise Cakes stylist Moments in Vintage  and hair & makeup artist Elizabeth Crossley along with a beautiful gown from Lost in Paris , dapper grooms attire from When Freddie Met Lilly,  a luxe velvet ring box from Amonie,  vintage crockery from Fancy Tea , silk from Tinctifolia. All linked together beautifully by a stunning stationery suite created by Lindqvist Ink. The venue, The Smug Fig, set inside a garden nursery was the most beautiful backdrop for the moody garden vibe.

Amanda adding of her inspiration “The garden was heavily inspired by a love of Pre-Raphaelite paintings and old-worldly gypsy vibes. In certain parts, nature was used a backdrop – as a grounding element, and the use of mirrors and windows in the background of some images to further develop the narrative. I focused on things like the fruit, which naturally have a luminous, even garish colours and simplicity of line. I have always been drawn to Pre-Raphaelite paintings, in particular, the way the light hits the skin, and the colours too.”
