Happy Monday Dotties! We have a few big projects kicking this week off behind the scenes and I cannot wait to get into them! We have a busy week ahead with so much wedding inspiration, let’s get into it!

Our summer this year has been hot, cold, rainy and windy. If you’re planning a wedding outdoors, we suggest you take into account that the weather gods may not smile on you and provide a perfectly sunny day at just the right temperature! Have you considered undercover options, or even options like shady trees to sit under if the day is hot?  Meanwhile check out Ms Polka Dot’s Directory and we’re sure you’ll find just the right vendors to plan your wedding vision. We have Mobile Bars & Drinks Catering, we have Transport, we have Photobooth Hire and Hair & Beauty – we even have Wedding Planners and Celebrants! Our vendors are eager to help you create the wedding of your dreams.

Check out Ms Polka Dot’s Directory for wedding vendors who will love your wedding as much as you!

Nathan of Nathan Kaso Weddings is one of those creative souls who has a passion for creating beautiful films of your wedding day. No awkward posing or directing – just natural wedding moments captured on film. Reflecting your personalities and the tone of your day, you will want to watch your wedding film over and over again. And that’s what the essence of wedding films is – your story  told in moving images.

We asked Nathan of Nathan Kaso Weddings  five questions in five minutes:

What is your favourite after five drink?

Love a good pale ale at the end of the day, or the middle of the day for that matter!

Your favourite weekend getaway?

I’ve always loved getting up to Bright in the Victorian high country, particularly in Autumn when the leaves are changing and you get beautiful crisp mornings and lovely afternoon sun.

Favourite restaurant?

Simone’s in Bright is definitely a favourite. Last time we were there my wife and I gorged on the 8 course degustation, just amazing!

What can we find you eating for breakfast on a Sunday morning?

I always eat breakfast with my three-year-old son Declan. I have weetbix, he has sultana bran (and some of my weetbix), and we watch a classic animated movie like Toy Story, Finding Nemo or Big Hero 6. Best way to start the day!

Your favourite wedding story?

I love every wedding I go to, whether it’s as a guest or to capture the day in film, but my favourite would have to be my own. I married my wife Lauren after being together for nine years (we were 16 when we started dating), seven years later we have two amazing children and I still look back on our wedding as the best day of my life.
