The year of 2017 seems to be all about deep dramatic details and decadent, unexpected colour combinations and this beautiful modern warehouse engagement party with moody florals shows it all off in a beautiful way.

The inspiration of “Ambient party vibe with plenty of room for dancing, intimate dinner and drinks with elegant accents.” made use of the blank canvas with the golden light of the setting sun.

Set in an industrial factory at Perth City Farm, sits a long table cloaked in white linen surrounded by black chairs from M Events Hire.

To add a soft touch, Plumm Wood created low sitting beautiful floral centrepieces of blush, peach and marsala, accompanied by gold cutlery from Cutlery & Co and typographic stationery pieces by Studiober. A scrumptious stunning cake by The Flour Press sits on a gold table, setting the scene along with chalkboard signage by Chalk of Perth. The touch of glam that comes to life as the sun sets? Exposed hanging light bulbs by 88 Electrics

Photographer Shoshana Kruger Photography who teamed up with Pop Up Planning Co to create the shoot tells “I wanted something a little different, darker and more moody than your average bridal styled shoot. By wanting to only use available light for the photographs to give a more natural look, we needed a space that has lots of natural light but then dimmed beautifully after sunset to suit the industrial mood of the venue and exposed hanging light bulbs over the table.”

“The florals feature rich textures and dark purples softened with soft blush pink. The gold cutlery and metallic cake table added an element of glamour, while the warehouse gave us the raw feel we were after with plenty of natural light and exposed beams. Matte black tableware with pink leather cutlery clasps added something new and textural that we hadn’t seen before.”

The newly-engaged pair, enacted by couple Taylah Divitini and Paul Pantaleo wear pieces by Frockfinder and Gentleman & Scholar with hair and makeup by TXC Collective and Gamine Dynasty.
